Our chalets range from simple stylish comfort to the highest levels of luxury expected at any top Safari Lodge.

All ensuite chalets have verandahs with lovely woodland views and are very private.

At the centre of the Pioneer Camp is the open thatched bar/restaurant or ‘Chitenge’. This is for residents’ only and is open from 0700 until 2300 every day. Coffee and Tea are always available here.

Hosted mainly be Alfred, this is the place to exchange tales of adventure with fellow travellers. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here.

Pioneer Camp is well known for the candle lit braai meals served in the evenings - in particular the tasty 500gm T-bones!

ACCOMMODATION
COTTAGE
 2 bedrooms (5 beds), sitting/dining-room, kitchen, bathroom, verandah, private garden $120/night (total) No meals included. Ordering is possible.
CHALETS
Luxury Safari Chalets- en-suite bathrooms (with king size four poster bed or twin beds, showers and/or sunken bath) $60 per person per night to include full English Breakfast
FAMILY CHALETS
These two chalets share a shower room and washroom with each other.The price for the whole chalet is $80 OR $40 per person per night (Inclusive of breakfast)
PIONEER CHALETS
Similar to the Safari Chalets but without private facilities $35 per person to includes breakfast
Camping available at $8 per night per person.
